Wet tensile devices acc. to DIN EN 12625-4 and -5 for horizontal tensile tester:
The operator places a 50 mm wide sample in pneumatic sample clamps. Those are closing automatically and drive some millimetres towards each other so that the sample lowers into the immersion basin to be watered for a prescribed time. After the prescribed watering time, the sample is torn from the basin and tensioned until it breaks. As soon as a break is detected, appropriate diagrams and values are displayed.
Finch clamp acc. to DIN EN 12625-5 for vertical tensile tester F81838 or MTC-100:
The sample is placed slackly around the bracket of the finch clamp and clamped to the above. The immersion basin, placed below, is pushed upwards so that the sample is immersed sufficiently. After the prescribed watering time, the water basin is pushed downwards again. The tensile test is performed, and the sample is torn until it breaks. As soon as a break is detected, the values and diagrams are displayed (when using model F81838).
